Connects to your Fluke thermal imaging camera. The bad reviews are from people that can't read in the description that it only connects to your thermal camera. I have a Fluke TiS 20 and it works awesome. Very handy to have a remote display. I use it daily.
Thought this was a functioning app that I could use my camera phone with but it doesn't work. Very disappointing.
Works great with my Fluke Tis-9
This is simply a live stream for your IR camera it does exactly what I wanted it to do. It never said it is a IR camera. Using basic logic nobody should be gullible enough to think any app (does not include emu) can transform your iOS device into a different type of device should not even be using the App Store.
I didn't read anywhere that you need to purchase a special camera to use this app. Maybe I didn't read it carefully enough to realize this but I found it extremely misleading. Don't like this app at all
Doesn't work with iPhone camera need to purchase a special camera take photos And then use app on phone to view. Please take off apps that don't work with phone
They should probably tell you that before downloading.
Please take off iCloud
I have a Ti400, every time I try to edit a thermal image the app shuts down. When I restart the app and try to open the image again. It won't open.
The mobile app is must better than the PC software. However, when trying to report 50+ images it has several inefficiencies. Every time you want to move between the report view and image editing view, you have to wait for the entire report to load. It would be nice to edit from the report view. When editing an image, there are a lot of clicks to get back to the list of images for the next image. It would be nice to click the “Images” tab once to return to the list of images. The report template needs more flexibility and formatting options. The app only works with the newer cameras with blue tooth and wifi capability. Needs an import feature from dropbox, google drive, or Apple iCloud drive.
Seems to be very buggy since the ISO 8 update. Hope fixes are coming soon.
This app is real easy to use and does most of what the smartview desktop program does. You obviously need a FLUKE IR camera to use this app. All of the people who have rated this at 1 star do not understand what this app is for. The one thing this app could benefit from is the ability to load up existing IS2 files from a cloud service.
I called fluke. They are not and will not make a Mac version for their IR Thermometers Vt02 or vt04. "Not enough users.” This was their in-house determination. With their proprietary graphics API you can’t use or convert the pictures. So were screwed. Why they have a App on the Apple store must be a cheap way for them to advertise. Pretty piss poor customer service from any standpoint. The FLIR ONE iPhone adapter is coming out at about $345. Picture and price is way better. So long Fluke.
Nothing was working and it's completely misleading
This app has absolutely no need to be on the market. It does nothing and it's just making people angry. This app could be used as a joke app but other than that there is no possible reason for this app.
Judging from the frustrated reviews on here, you might consider mentioning that you first need to own a FLIR camera for this app to work. And those don't come cheap. If only an iPhone camera could be magically configured to sense temperature...
All it does is shut off every time I go into it
you didnt di a good job at all. it never opens up a camera so this app is now being deleted and i will let everyone in Facebook and twitter know not to download it unil you have a update with a fix!
Just says searching for cameras
All it does is say "searching for camera" fix it if u want anyone to buy this
I have a TI32 and my Company owns 12 total. This is a great app and it would be nice to allow importing of any IS2 format images from any Fluke IR not just the new units that have wifi. My Company will not upgrade so unless you open the app up to allow others all I have to say is "Nice Try"
Looks like a good app but it doesn't support the Ti10 camera. I emailed myself the files and it recognized they should open in the app, but when I did it said "No Document." Doesn't work for me.
I get the same "No Document" message when I try to open IS2 images taken with a Fluke Model Ti25. I am not going to go out and buy a new infrared camera just to use this software. I am going to give it three stars just because it looks like good software when working with the sample images. I don't think it would take much effort to make it support more models.
I have purchased the VT04. I too would like to see support for the VT02/VT04 Series of thermal tools. These output the same “.IS2” file format, but yet when brought into the SmartView Mobile (I emailed it to my phone from my desktop computer), it just says “No Document” even though the file is there. Fluke, how about some support for us that cannot afford the “big guns”? Also, how about porting the desktop application to the Apple Mac side??
I have a VT02 and assumed if i didn't have a fluke tool that supported wifi or bluetooth that I'd be able to import the images in the field. Please support this in the future? Dropbox integration would be a life saver.
Been waiting for this from Fluke for a while! It was certainly well worth the wait! It works much better and is much more intuitive than what some others offer! I can't wait to see what they add to this app in the future. Keep it up, Fluke!
